585 yrd plinking .25 M3/AbsoluteMOA/Ravin

I took a break from shooting steel at the range and wanted to see if I could tag some miscellaneous small objects on the 585+ yard berm. Since the steel gongs were shot up and it was difficult to see just how precise I was shooting, I thought I might get a better idea by seeing the impacts in the dirt vs hitting the large gongs over and over. Not to mention, I really enjoy picking on small objects at ELR and just wanted to have some fun.

I love the adjustable base. Is that the cold shot?
I keep hoping someone will make amore affordable version.
Do they make one with windage as well?

Trlrman is correct. I'm using the Ravin Jack Plate. The link above is a comparison I'd did between the two.
I have both and I like the Ravin a lot more and it's about half the price.
Neither one has a windage adjustment.

Looks like a nice range. Bring a can of white paint next time?

I need to drag my butt to the range. I stop going at what seems like 2 months or more.

Do you have any moa kits for a 35mm scopes and will a tactacam still fit?

I cobbled something forward instead of rearward.

Yeah, it's a great range but it feels like it's shrinking. Lol.
Painting would be great except we are forbidden to walk past the 300 yard berm.
Sorry, no 35mm as of yet. There just isn't a need for anything larger than 30mm with an adjustable base. I could see 34mm possible the future just because so many folks have already invested in them.
If you do end up getting a 30mm scope, PM me before you order a kit and I'll see what I can do.😉

As far as the tactacam is concerned, I think you'll be fine.
The Ravin kit is reversible and has a cutout so you can still use the selector switch.

You can run the scope mount upside down and turn the drop guage parallel with the scope and it should clear everything just fine.

Funny this thread popped up. I happen to go to the range today. Other than forgetting paper targets I also did not pack extra batteries for the dial indicator!

I knew I packed some LR44 batteries in my tool box but I just stole them the other day for my rotor mic! Lucky for me I have my electronic calipers in the tool box too and they use the same batteries! Now I just need to get a new battery put into the calipers!

Wait I just put the dial indicator battery into the the calipers and they work. I wonder if I just had to do a hard reset on the dial indicator? 🙄

Edit
Sorry for rambling, I have not shot in a while, except for the minor hiccups, I still had fun.
