Nomad ll air compressor Stoped building air pressure

Well, mine stopped building air last week. It will run but no air pressure building. Like the other guy I called the number in the owner manual, they sent me a parts diagram and asked if I wanted to send it to them for repair. I have only found one rebuild video for that compressor. Do you think i should order another one, maybe a non-name brand would be better. I would rather spend $300 on a no-name brand so in a year if it goes bad it’s only $300. Any recommendations on a good no-name brand, 4500 psi portable pcp compressor.

I had a Nomad 2 that stopped building pressure in under a month of use. Sent it back grabbed a cheap Yong Heng. It wasn't easily portable but it didn't need to be as it stays at home. 4yrs later and it still fills my guns in under a minute. That being said it really doesn't get used often these days as I've moved on to springers.

Sounds good to me.👍

I just ordered a GX PUMP CS4 Portable PCP Air Compressor. Good reviews and people here like it. Now I can get a scuba tank and top off my air guns with that.

I used the rebuild kit, and replaced the high pressure springs or whatever their called, but nothing still not building air. I am going to take it all apart right down to the piston, one person said their piston arm broke. Nomad 2 is a piece of crap. We all get taken in with these guys pedaling this junk.

I have a Nomad 2 that stopped building pressure. I changed all the check valves and it didn't help, so I changed the brown O ring that seals around the shaft of the piston along with the O ring that sits behind it, and now it builds pressure again.
Kits are cheap from Aliexpress.

So there are 3 of these brown "fabric" O rings. The one I changed was the middle sized one.

I have said this before. The most expensive aspect of air gunning is high pressure air (HPA). Far more than the cost of the guns or the ammo. This is an unwelcome message, but it is true nevertheless. These cheap compressors are a waste of money. Sooner or later if you stay in this sport, you will get a top of the line compressor and several carbon fiber bottles. In that light, it is less expensive to do it first, not after you wasted valuable cash on the cheap stuff. Buy once, cry once.
