EDgun Leshiy 2 wont fire, Help!

My Leshiy stopped firing, just makes a slight hiss. The valve stem is aligned in the center of the opening so the trigger blade doesn't engage it. I have replaced the ball and the part the ball seats into. It still lines up a little right of center instead of the left side of the oval opening. The stem is not bent, I don't know what else to check. Edgun west wants 300 bucks to look at it, I ain't paying that! Any suggestions from the experts here?

About all I can think is maybe a piece of the old ball is left in there. Was the old ball broken?

There is a small setscrew below that pin OP mentioned, try to turn it CW for 1/2 turn or an extra 1/2 turn. That is a STOP adjustment for the trigger machanisam bar that pushes the pin.
when you want to adjust this, be aware that the setscrew is locked by another setscrew. This one is on the bottom of the gun. You have to slightly loosen this one first before adjusting the stop adjustment.

I have more or less same problem: Leshiy 2 is not firing, even not hissing. After two mags that were shooting just fine it stopped suddenly, without any strange behaviour.

So I checked the following:
  • valve: I opened it completely, but it seems just fine. The valve fires when I engage the valve stem manually with a screwdriver, so valve seems to be working
  • above suggestion @Holladay : no change
  • suggestion @bigHUN : no change
Would you have any more suggestions or fixes? Would it be possible that the trigger blade is not aligned with the valve stem so that it just pushes next to it, without engaging it?

@bigHUN thanks for your suggestion. Tried it, but nothing was visible. But it made me thinking that you can actually see it when the magazine is removed. The trigger rod is pushing just on the edge of the valve stem, and I feel a very little bump when it slides off. You can see it in the picture:
the red marker indicated the valve stem. The blue marker is the trigger rod. Both do not connect, hence the gun does not fire.

Very strange, I didn't have the issue before and suddenly it was off. Does anyone know how both can be aligned again?

Ok so I found it! I opened the trigger unit, and found out that the trigger rod was slightly bent. See the pictures below. Some twisting of the rod bent it slightly back, and now my gun fires again. But it was a pita finding it out, and it spoiled my shooting day :(

Some remarks/learnings:
  • the rod is fairly sturdy, so no idea how it ended up bent. I have a new gun.
  • I bent it back slightly, but not yet enough. We'll see how long it holds up. If the problem comes back I'll need some more forces with pliers instead of fingers
  • I'm not a big fan of the trigger unit. I'm in general impressed by the engineering of the gun, but the trigger unit seems to be below that standard (plastiky and finicky).
  • If I were the designer (I'm not :) ) I'd make the rod thicker in the end. Now it's very easy to miss the valve stem with a slight misalignment.
  • for those who have the same problem: it's not that difficult to fix it once you know where the problem is.

My trigger rod is a same, I can see it from the sharpie paint, but so far about 10 K shots in it and working well.
I spent some time adjusting that set screw what stops the trigger rod = engage depth, also trained my finger for the trigger "tap".
A combination of trigger technic and jet sizes I can confirm the L2 can be a consistent sub MOA on 50 or 70 meter rings.
Ones I figure out the tricks I can say the L2 Valve and Dwell is more consistent then my Impact MK2.
btw, I am dual purposing the FX liners between the two guns, the .22 is on L2 and the .25 on Impact or I switch around.... so the accuracy and precision is not in a barrel ;)
