Huma MOD-40 availability

I use a .25 30mm that came with 4 sections as you described. The GK1- in the center of the pix has it on it works great. I bought a .30 Huma model 40mm it louder by far. I got the 40 setting out here on the deck need to get rid of it if anybody needs it 😂.

Emailed them and was told supply chain issues. I believe they will be offered as stand-alones.
Good to hear! I managed to snag the last one from Palm Beach airguns last year and I now am in need of a new insert. These kevlar ones are my favorite thus far in terms of noise reduction. I have yet to try any of the STO's everyone praise.

On another forum, someone reported that Huma discontinued the Huma Mod40 STANDARD and replaced it with the Avalanche because the Standard ones had a high failure rate.
Huma touts the delrin inserts on the new Avalanche models are more durable:
"... due it’s extreme strength there are no power limits in use."
The Avalanche version ISN'T nearly as quiet on any gun/power level I've tried it on.
Huma, bring back the STANDARD!

Interesting, mine worked just fine shooting 72fpe out of the .22 gk1. I'm almost positive it was too expensive for them to make for the price they were looking to sell to stay competitive.

Oh I'm sure that being less expensive(either to manufacture and/OR lower failure rate/less free replacements) was their reason.
If it "worked just fine..." why did you post a picture of yours with the guts blown out of it??
Anyway, I hope I'm wrong in saying that Huma will not make them anymore because I really like them. If you're close to PBA, ask Joel to get the skinny from Huma.

That was caused from accidental double feeding. I go there usually once a week so I'll ask haha. He has some nice guns in stock
