Pictures can be deceiving, but it looks like I'm going to like it. Supposed to be here Monday, and that is going to make for a long weekend,,, the wait has begun!

That is a nice looking rifle. I’ve been seriously tempted to get a Cometa, but I already have a really nice HW95 that kind of fills the same role.
I have a Beeman R10 although in 177 cal. Same family as the HW85 and 95, and love it. But the cometa is over a pound lighter, and with a 42.3" oal, and 7.5 pound weight of the 95, but w 41" including the suppressor, and 6.8 lbs. with a Walnut stock in the Fenix, for about half the money I had to try it.

But it has a gas strut plus a lifetime warranty. I want to check out a Gas rammer, I had a Umarex Octane and was never satisfied, great power, poor accuracy. The Cometa has received a lot of reviews, and all good, especially accuracy.

I am a 40 year long Benchrest competitor, and single shots and accuracy I have a addiction to. So I am sure I will be more critical than most, but on the UK forums those folks are coinsures of the German and UK top end guns, and many say it as good as those guns. These are users of both!

I wont say go for it, But I paid less for this 400, tuned, with a trigger job, and setup with a 3-9x40 IR AO True Hunter scope in Walnut, shipped, for less than I would have had in a Beach 95 alone before tax. I will probably go with a Hawke 4-12x50 AirMax later, but will test this before hunting season comes in just a couple weeks and give some thoughts. After that once I hunt with it I will give my final thoughts!
