The 120 BAR mentioned above seem like a lot, i have shot 13 grain Zan slugs @ 960 fps in my 700 mm Maverick with just 70 BAR.
That also with dual transfer port and pin probe.
In my current 700 mm Epic airguns Two i shoot 16 grain Zan slugs at 90 - 100 BAR, also at a speed around +960 fps
I have just tried 24 grain Zan slugs in my Two, and here i was at 140 BAR, well at least to really get them going,
At distance 93 M / 100 yards at high speed the 24 grain arrive at target tumbling, same go with 20 grain but shooting those at a slower speed down around 900 fps they arrive correctly orientated.
The 24 grain slugs was working good at 55 M though, as in i was shooting branches off a tree limb put in front of the back stop, ranging from very thin ones to more massive ones around 1 inch in diameter that did take several hits to break, well at least in this fairly fresh cut off tree limb.
And i must have been fairly grouping CUZ in the end i made a hole in the 20 foot container, and they are after all not made of the thinnest possible metal.

Og course in a shorter rifle, you do need to kick the ammo harder to be able to get it up to speed in the shorter " runway "

EDIT: in my Maverick, shooting at that super low pressure was not the most accurate, i had more success going up around 90 BAR.
