These Pantheras also have valve rod issues, loss of first stage on trigger, and less than expected accuracy…and need double bottles to get decent shot count with 40 gr slugs…

Just so we are clear, you don't like the Panthera? Lol.Fx Pantheras…Designed only for 10 shot-competition…in very short time usage…but, in mean time, during testing and calibration process, you spend weeks re-filling the tiny bottle over and over…and when you finally get some accuracy and think you are ready to compete…it will leak out all air and you have to return it back to factory…if it is going to survive, it will need more shut count, less air-leaking issues and better accuracy out of the box…
What are you shooting? I have over 3000 Altaros slugs through mine and it has only gotten better!I received one of the 1st run pantheras I early January and have had zero issues with it. Early on I bored out the block under the plenum to allow for a longer valve travel. The added bore depth was 2mm. This along With never shooting below reg pressure has made it worry free. I have shoot mine well over 6000 times since with no problems. The gun shoots sub moa consistently until the bore gets leaded ( only takes about 200 to 250 shots to lead up). Accuracy falls off quickly until it is cleaned. The platform shoots so great I bought another one. It Is not a gun for someone who doesn’t take their time to tune for a specific slug. A lazy tuner will get frustrated
Probably velocity related too. Mine also leaded up quickly shooting the usual slugs at higher speeds. The Altaros at 885 - no cleaning needed at all in many many shotsWhat are you shooting? I have over 3000 Altaros slugs through mine and it has only gotten better!
I bought 2 Pantheras lured by the promo…and I liked them at first…but never got to love them because I had accuracy, low shot count and air leaking issues…Just so we are clear, you don't like the Panthera? Lol.
You have made that abundantly clear.I bought 2 Pantheras lured by the promo…and I liked them at first…but never got to love them because I had accuracy, low shot count and air leaking issues…
Yes it does. There is an upgrade for a thicker oring in the valve cap on the front. The valve cap also has a bigger chamber for that oring. The new oring takes a bit of the speed because there is more grip and tension on the valve. About 10 to 15 fps. A polished valve seems to help a bit.I have a question. Does the new valve from 2.95 mm fit in the original valve seat??
I am impressed of the accuracy of my Panthera 700 mm. ! Outstanding accuracy even at 220 m.! -group is about 2’‘ I use 700 mm heavy liner and 30.5 gr slugs Or H&N 30 gr.I returned both Pantheras…very dissapointed…it is unacceptable that an expensive rifle had so many issues…you have to even change barrels, linners and hammers to ger average accuracy in a new rifle…that is unacceptable…
Huma Air sells a new valve pin for like 15$. All you need to do is drill out a deeper hole on the piece that covers the valve.Looks like I found the reason . The valvepin is bent. Not sure why this happened. Now I have to get a replacement.

Let’s be fair. As seasoned airgunners we know slugs can be an adventure. They aren’t easy. The low shot count is 10000% on you. You only have yourself to blame on that one. Leaking I give you. That sucks on a new gun. Were you the OP ? This isn’t the first bent valve pin I’ve seen on these. I always chalked it up to people trying to push the limits of them. Maybe notI bought 2 Pantheras lured by the promo…and I liked them at first…but never got to love them because I had accuracy, low shot count and air leaking issues…
