I am so happy to post this. I concieved of this when I saw the Edgun Lelya 2 and could literally feel myself holding it by just looking at pictures. Lelya 2 is the most beautiful of all the guns, imho.

I researched and researched til I landed on the Jet 1 in .25 as a simple enough donor gun, because God knows I'm not shelling out 1800 for a new Lelya. Ever. Bought 1 Jet, loved it, and bought a second instantly via Midway's sale on them in January for only 130 bucks new. Worth it.

The Jet stripped down lacks length so its not a full proper Leyla, thus I'm calling it the Lilya. Eat your hearts out. I f-ing love this thing more than most of you love your children, even without being able to shoot it yet. About that, he trigger relay rod will be utterly simple to install. Its all simple. I just couldn't wait anymore and grabbed a piece of junk wood and a chisel and went at it. Some cuts were initially made with a saw but I put maybe 8 hours of chisel carving into this. I'm not pro at that so it was learning. Started last night, woke up and finished today.

Holding it is a dream. I mean, I cut it to really fit my hand perfectly and it has lots of sanding yet, but the feel is precisely how I imagined. I will be finishing it and adding pics to this thread. Its far from complete but the Lilya has been born. Happy bday Lilya.

Prolly adding a butt extension, which will coincide with a rear install of a linear servo (tiny piston rod) that will cock then load the gun as a semi-auto. Battery powered semi auto, not blowback based. Yay, full power shots.

Thanks. I have been trying to solve the air tube issue since I came up w the idea. For now, the front of the airtube meets a bike grip that holds a tiny 1000lumen led. Cheap, silly, awesome.

I can extend the tube w a flush nonpressure section for the flashlight, but a true longer pressurized tube (with a regulator) would be ideal. I have yet to see anyone set two Jet cylinders in-line w/out the silly stacked setup. Anyone know about it?

I can set a longer barrel and 3d print a longer shroud w/ picatinny handle, but never solved the airtube issue.

Tiger striped or a 2 tone gray ( a light and a darker ) and a black in digi cam or Tiger striped .... lol both would look great to me haha. Pick something you like first and foremost as that is what it is all about . I appreciate what you have done for yourself thus far have fun with it . I enjoy such projects (similar) myself at times . Kind of like a fun multiplier for me . ;)

Buck Rail posted a video on Instagram of a prototype pump action mechanism for the Jet 1. Might not work with your stock though.
Thats epic. I found the video. I had the same idea. My model would conceal the lever and use an electronic piston to pump it. Whatever force applied to that system is best if centralized as the parts seem like failable parts. For Terrys pump rod I would make sure it has a metal core. Plastic is durable but a break is eminent.

That side lever pump is super legit and I'm glad Terry at Buckrail made that. I just hope he lets me keep the Lilya concept for my own because I'm working on a 3d print file for it myself. So Shhhhh. Glad to know he's working on the Jet tho. It does have a ton of potential. He kinda nailed it except for the horrible zipper sound. Such are prototypes.

I couldn't let it go and one upped his pump reload design. Its all metal, using a stiff aluminum alloy arrow. Hugs the side, no bend. WAY better for not messing up the barrel's aim via distributed torque. Love it! I need a stop/lock on it so the breach stays sealed but other than that this is solved, mechanically. Aesthetically its blah but not super bad.

I was just prototyping but this does if fact work well as is. I can always put a lil rubber sleeve over the loose joint and it will look fine and stay clean😁. Nylon string would work instead of wire, especially if protected. Overall this is proof you can just shed the plastic side lever handle altogether. A better design would use a tube and stiff wire inside, maybe with bearings around it. We shall see what comes of it. Betting someone else nails this down almost instantly

Lilya update: just primed with a dark slate colored auto primer, did 2-3 large stripes of matte navy blue, then used a matte whitish-grey primer and an OHM sign 3d print stencil I had on hand to break up the shape. Needs its carry handle rail, the scope and the cocking mechanism so I'll add pics when its complete and all painted.
