The .08 was referring to the jet size. as far as backing out the "screw" it can go as far as 1/16" or 2mm past the end of the valve collar edge. Best way I can explain it.

My valve return was set about 1/8" in from the valve body end, my friend Steve backed it out to about 1/16" past the valve body end to help with power increase.

Well the 550mm barrel came in. Its a CZ barrel. They say no choke but .2140" pin goes in the chamber and does not in the muzzle. I'll look into it further but that what I got so far. With my moderator it comes in at 46" long. I had a couple 5/32 extended drills and cut the flutes off and have no problem swapping barrels. If you use two of them its easy. I have some work to catch up on so can not shot it today but will post what I think about it ASAP!

I dropped the pressure today ( 63 BAR ) and shot a lot of pellets,,,, okay also a few 100 13 grain Zan slugs,
It was quite wholesome and the CZ barrel seem to like the crosman premier domed pellets
Also ran a few other pellets, but at the time there was more wind, when i got to the crosman pellets the second time around the wind was dying down.
Hell i even managed to hit a 2" target at 100 yards, though not as many times as i missed it, but the 1 shot where i pretty much hit the red dot in the center dead on, well i had to lean back in the chair for a while, and i think i must have looked pretty full of myself even if it was pure luck.
I will for damn sure have to try pellets again.

Well I got around to shooting it with the 550mm CZ .22 cal barrel. I was excited to try a few the pellets and slugs I have laying around. The Hawki Thunder, Huben Peanut and vintage Daystate Rangemaster failed badly and groups were about 1" at 40 yards I dont think any two pellets touched each other. I have it sighted in at 50 yards so the groups are a tad high at 40 but the tried and true JSB RDM 25.39 at 950 fps came in nice and tight. I might try to tune for the other pellets later but am happy with the JSB for now.
The 300mm barrel with 18 gr Jsb at 925 fps did OK but the 550mm barrel with the 25.39 Monsters did better. It won't win any matches but I'm happy with the Epic Two so far. Just a joy to shoot.

That hole look much the same as many 5 shot holes i made at 30 M on Sunday.
I have now packed some H&N pellets to try out too next Monday when weather seem to become OK again.
Mind you i am also a bit over my pellet fab and so since i am at these low pressures i have also thrown in a tin of 13 gr Zan slugs to finish off the next session.
