Have you ever eaten pigeons?

I have eaten many pigeons. Cut a jalapeño pepper in half, remove the seeds, put 1/2 pigeon breast in the pepper, cut a piece of cream cheese about the size of a pad of butter and place on the dove breast and wrap in thin sliced bacon and broil. Use thin bacon so it gets done before the pigeon gets too done. Good hot or cold. The more you cook pigeon the more it taste liver. Enjoy.

We do pigeons, collared dove and whitewing very similar to that. Excellent recipe!

Yup they taste a little like liver. I like liver but liver tasting pigeon gets a bit tangy. Cooking them done but not too much is the trick!
