The male thread portion of the asa adapter that screws into the drop block body is only rated for 1800PSI MAX working pressure.

Notos regulator stock is set to 1900psi, most drop block users buy a 2200 or 2400psi Fixed inline reg. The only reason I know this is because mine was slightly bent when I had to torque the block body against the crush not to clock it correctly. The seller linked me to the part he used off of Amazon... " max working pressure 1800psi" listed on the Amazon ad . Not the dropblock ad.

UMAREX NOTOS drop block system | eBay

Holds air forever.Might not be the prettiest gun but gets the job done. The bolt is heavy in both directions, so if you have arthritis this isnt for you. If you take it apart for fun, you own it.

Mine didn't explode. And so far I've not seen stories of it.. but it is a possibility. Just thought people should know

Okay. But there are parts available that meet the required pressure specs.

Parts that can safely take Paintball C02\HPA operating pressures often can't take PCP HPA working pressures.

The highest pressure I ever heard of in paintball and used were the AGD AUTOMAGs.. 800-1200psi... Since the advent of electric guns the working pressures dropped to low 3 digit and even some high 2 digit pressures.

It matters that someone COULD get hurt. Obviously this is "enter at your own risk" but a Caveat Emptor Should at least be posted.

Don't even have a Notos, but was sourcing parts for a build for a friend.
Saw this on eBay & Etsy clicked right past it based on the looks alone.
It looks like something thrown together from home Depot parts.

There's much better drop block options available, but if your safety isn't worth an extra couple of $$ and you're just being cheap, then use POS upgrade items made by people you never heard of, just make sure and post up that picture when it blows..
That's what anyone even thinking of using this should hear.

Yes it was a stopgap measure. The dropblock I wanted (and ordered) had a 3-5 week delivery window... So I got this for the time being. The more appealing and functional block arrived Tuesday night. I just know others will use this.

Why use a drop bloc when there is a top of the line regulator that will perform both functions?

Why don't you look at the shipping lag times.

It takes 2 months right now.

Perhaps someone is on a budget and uses an inline reg

Perhaps someone was experimenting to see if the bottle conversion was worth the weight and bulk gain... Perhaps there's a multitude of reasons.

Why do you shoot pcps when. Powder burners exist?
Why do you have a notos? There's RAW microhunter available

Perhaps (this is the case). It was a stop gap measure because I DID ORDER IT and there's a 2 month lag time between spending the money and receiving the item.

I just received my 2nd Dream Universal about a week ago and it took about 7 days total after I ordered it. Shipped DHL from Hong Kong on a Monday and they delivered on Wednesday. Took longer for Huben Power to ship than for DHL to deliver.

I don't have a Notos and I don't know if the Dream Notos uses the same M18 interface as the Dream Universal.
