Anyone ever mess with this particular rifle? This is the standard Rifle, not the bullpup. I bought a used one in 22. It's a pretty standard take on a traditional air rifle. It has a terry decent trigger once I figured it all out, and got it tuned. The magazine is similar to the Weihrauch HW100, simple and effective. The mag latch is a bit different, it has two positions, auto or manual rotation. Wierd, but works well. It has a CZ barrel and as is typical, accuracy is amazing. Every group right from sighting in a new scope to testing a couple different pellets at 30M has been one hole, even Walmart Crosman hollow points. It seems to love everything. I have a Katran in 177 and those CZ barrels are pretty amazing. Haven't put it over the chrony yet, but it's hitting fairly hard.
Anyone else had experience with the carbine version? They seem pretty rare. I guess the newer, more easily adjustable, tactical style guns are more popular.
 
Yes they're quite amazing. Easier to shoot than my Wildcat mk3. When my trigger sear was worn down, I've had my action sent in to Czech Republic and they fixed it for free. And that was ten years after it was made; talk about service! Take a dremel and make another slot in the cover plate for easier changing mags. Mine has a biathlon handle and it works but the travel of the sidelever is a little too long, when compared with the FX sidelever/biathlon combo.

If your referring to the Kalibergun "Mini Carbine", I've been working with one for over a year and a half. After a familiarization period of setting the hammerspring and adjusting the safety to set, this Mini has become a favorite of mine. Mine shoots JSB 18s at 825fps and Crosman domes at 870fps. I recently tried JSB 14.35s and no surprise one ragged hole at 30y...first try with them. My appeal for this platform is the smallish light weight with a very comfortable stock...and I've shots many outstanding groups with mine. I often " eyeballed" these Mini Carbines when they were new but considered 1600 bucks too much for the simple platform...Maybe why there's not many around. I like my Veteran a little better but the Mini is right up there too. So far very nice reliable accurate air gun...Your lucky to have found one...I see WTBs in the classifieds frequently looking for them.

Mine is exactly like the pic Rain posted above (not the mini). I've never had experience with any Kalibergun, but this one is definitely growing on me.
I chrony'd FX 18.1 gr domed pellets. 928 fps avg, 6 fps es, and a standard deviation of 1.6 fps. Here's the kicker, the %es was 0.64%. That's not a misprint, that zero point 64%. That's quite possibly the lowest %es I've ever shot, and I have some guns that are easily capable of right around 1% or just slightly less. I'd have to look back at the numbers, but I'm sure this is the best.
When you first look at this gun, it's nothing special. I mean it's got a very comfortable and light stock, the action is smooth, etc. but when you shoot it, you get the idea right away, that this gun is made to shoot, and shoot very well indeed. It is absolutely effortless to get one hole groups at 30 meters all day long. Next up will be 100 yards to see how the diabolos can handle that kind of speed at distance. I need to run a full string and map it out, but it looks like 4 full mags at this velocity and I'm not even filling to max. I fill to between 220-250bar. Pretty amazing little gun.

Well, I must say, I bought this rifle because I was bored and had some extra cash, not thinking it was a serious contender for airgun of the year or anything like that. Turns out, this thing really, really shoots.
I decided to remove the original scope and put on a SWFA SS 12X that I had optically centered. I didn't even take time to zero it, I simply set up and started shooting at 100 yards. It took a few shots, as you can imagine, to get it on paper. I had to hold 4 mils elevation and 2 mils right to get it on paper. I shot the group below judging my hold off on the edge of the target. I nearly fell off my seat when it turned out to be 1-1/4", and there was a slight wind to contend with. This is FX 18.1 gr domed at 928 fps average. Wow! what a gun.

I would have never guessed this thing woud shoot like this.

They don't get much credit as nice as they are, another thing is how quite they are with the stock moderator. Nice shooting BTW you didn't go wrong with that buy. 👍 Have a picture ?

Well, Like everyone says, these crickets are amazingly accurate guns. They don't get the press they deserve, imo.

Here's a pic of my custom, monte-carlo stocked version in .22 cal. Georgia Airguns had to special order this stock for me from Kalibrgun.

However, I'm sad to say that I've been planning to move it on for some time now. I love it, but I've been selling off my rifles that exceed 7lbs scoped. My back just won't tolerate the weight anymore.

I highly recommend the cricket's in any configuration.
Just solid rifles!

Great looking rifle! I feel for you man, I too have had and still suffer from back problems. I can still handle heavy rifles, and shoot more off the bench, but I hate to hear you having that kind of misery. I bet it shoots as good as it looks too!

How much is he selling it for? when I visit the Georgia Airguns website, it doesnt have any pricing anywhere

Thanks for the kind words bchannell. It actually shoots even better than it looks. It's ok, I have many other, lighter rifles to enjoy.
I'll pass this one on for someone else to enjoy.
