Other Best pesting .177 <35yrds?

If it's just a porch sitter that stormrider should be perfect unless it has accuracy issues. I can recommend the budget Beeman's as well. Maybe a Benjamin discovery. You don't want to leave your AA sitting on the porch. Just leave a beater out there that you won't mind if it gets weathered.

I was going to say BRK Atomic .177 until I read sit on the porch.

Then maybe the BRK is ok the trigger isn’t match grade but it’s ok

To me in the Airgun world I’d say like an FX Crown trigger (out of the box ) is match. Honestly after the trigger broke in on my Atomic its a crisp let off . I don’t know the weight but it’s nice .

Humidity is the killer. I’d worry about oxidation in the barrel affecting accuracy when I needed it. Airguns can’t use the same chemicals we use in PB’s. I can’t spray it down with Hornady One-Shot and know it’s good for awhile.
Ballistol does a good job as a rust inhibitor, but I’ve never done extended testing.
You can try it as a pellet lubricant after washing and drying them. It at least ensures a bit of Ballistol is always left in the barrel. Pull a patch after a week and see what you have. If it’s good, wait two weeks and repeat.

The o rings are the major concern with chemicals. I’d feel comfortable wiping the surface areas that could rust with one-shot. I carried a blued steel 1911 IWB here in FL for years with zero rust. Body contact and plenty of sweat. There are even wear markets down to bare steel. My trick was wipe it with Hornady One-Shot once a week.

Also, price is important when suggesting equipment. I know if it was me, I’d only leave a couple hundred dollar rifle at most out there.

I think the Stormrider is an excellent choice. If you want something synthetic

How about a Gamo? Get a Charlie Detuna trigger and you have the perfect porch beater with open sights that MIGHT work out of the box.

If you dont mind the peice and can find one I would suggest an airmaks katran c in .177, cocking is buttery smooth and the trigger is amazing.

Yes I’ve had one too in standard and compact. Both excellent solid smooth guns and btw my compact was a .177

I’d agree on this one as well it’s a nice accurate, quiet porch shooter.
Oh and very affordable

maybe a single gun /gunrack with a door on it ? #1 bit of protection from dust and rust . #2 out of sight .
you said porch "enclosed " screens ? , windows /walls ?
