Skout Evo Review?

They probably haven't shipped yet with the exception of maybe a few team members. Those people were likely asked to sign an embargo agreement.

Understood. I had seen a recent vid where a Skout rep. said that they were expecting frames, etc in by the end of June and production would then commence. Was thinking that if that was the case, a preproduction model might have been sent out to a reviewer or perhaps one was out at a recent competition.
I can wait. Not on the paid list so probably won't get an email for another 6 months anyway.

Sorry, didn't mean to ignore your question. I had ordered the .25 with the 1:23 twist 34.5" barrel. I originally wanted to order a .30 cal. but it seems that caliber is no longer available, and that was Skout's most accurate rifle so I'm a bit perplexed on that one.
Think they are just out of 30 cal stuff. They don’t even have any epoch caliber change hardware in .30. I emailed them and they said they would hopefully have epoch .30 cal barrel hardware by end of the month.

i have not shot the Evo yet, but from what i gather, the main differences between the Evo and the Epoch are ergonomics and cosmetic changes.
You're losing about 2lbs of weight
I do not believe that there is any big change in the firing system or accuracy except for the "release firing trigger"
The changes made to the barrels have been shown to work in both models..the people i've spoken with really like the bull barrel
IMO the bull barrel is performorning better than the OEM barrels, and soon, skout will be releasing their slug collaberation with Corbin in .22 ...which looks amazingly precise
Looking forward to their collaboration with Sub Moa barrels..most likely will get one ...dig rabbit dig
The Evo will be Skouts platform they will build on ..i'm guessing the Epochs run may fade away
Might see some report on how the handling is different with the lower profile and lighter weight, but accuracy should be the same
this is from what i have gathered...could be totally wrong, wouldn't be the 1st time..nor the last..learn from mistakes

Well even if it is a 1 gun ( air gun ) company, from what i have seen and heard i would not be too worried having dropped big dime on unseen model.
I was a little nervous about my Epic airguns Two rifle, it being a 0 rifle company at the time, but that also went fine in spite of the LW barrel hiccup at the very start.

I would so like a Skout rifle,,,,, IF !!!!!! i could get it in a caliber larger than the .177 my overlords have me tied to.
But for .177 i feel,,,,,, most airguns are really overkill, at least on the price for what you can do with what you get, a .22 would be sooooo much better.

...And now it's September and hardly a review or even targets for the Evo. You'd think with the hype I've been seeing there'd be lots of people showing off their targets. And there really needs to be a bona fide review. I was told patience, "Daniel Son" but 3 months later, still very little info . I did see a review this evening, (posted yesterday), from Mexico, (all in Spanish), with an amazing target with an Evo .30. I have bad been originally wanting a .30 but would settle for a .25 and 34.5" slug barrel. The Mexican (Sun City), review might have been proof enough for me but, I still don't see a .30 option on Skout's website, and the .25 slug barrel is gone as well. Really frustrating.

Call Darryl at Skout. I'm sure he'll provide an update on the 30 cal barrels.

In terms of Youtube videos, I'm guess they aren't paying people to promote content which I'm 100% okay with. That leaves the rest of us who either don't have interest in recording them and/or are having too much fun shooting them.

Besides seeing targets which I'll grab some pics this Friday, what other questions can I help answer?

I wanted to do a " review " of my Epic airguns Two, but i simply have too much fun just shooting it.
Also the damn thing sell itself, it is a cracking rifle, the best one i have gotten so far. And really those " influencers " well i always have some degree of apprehension towards them, and that is me saying it as polite as i can.
So of course i would prefer to not become one of those guys.
