Seat center post will lift 4 more inches. Stool can be used at a standard table or with the benches at Pyramyd Air. Can be leveled with terrain when shooting ground hogs using shooting sticks.

Mine is made well - it’s a keeper!
Glad you got a good one!
It's my typical luck ...leaned over at the cushion just snapped off the legs.
shame, because i was getting used to it
Fortunately, the cushion is the right height to place on top the stools provided at the range

It is just as important as the bench and the rest
the chair you sit in can be quite important for several reasons:

  1. Stability: A stable chair helps you maintain a consistent shooting position, which is crucial for accuracy. Any wobbling or shifting can affect your aim.
  2. Comfort: Comfort is key for longer shooting sessions. An uncomfortable chair can lead to fatigue, which can negatively impact your shooting performance.
  3. Height: The chair’s height should allow you to sit comfortably with your feet flat on the ground and your arms at a natural angle. This helps in maintaining a steady aim and reduces strain on your body.
  4. Support: A chair with good back support can help you maintain proper posture, which is important for consistent shooting form.
  5. Adjustability: An adjustable chair can be beneficial as it allows you to fine-tune your seating position to match the height of the bench rest and your personal comfort.
Overall, while the chair might seem like a minor detail, it can significantly impact your shooting experience and accuracy. Great topic!!!!!!!

Mine was a project, just like everything else. I started with a drafting stool.

But the I did not like the rolling feet. So I put these on.

But it was a little too heavy. At work we constantly have office chairs being tossed out and I found a nice plastic but sturdy base. Sometimes I put a gel seat cushion on top, but this is what I have. Not foldable but height adjustable and not heavy.

I like it except when I forget to bring it to the range.,

Well, can't say that i shoot BR except to sort out my FT guns dope
But
As i experience this in my own world, an as i have experienced this at several different ranges, i find a common issue or problem.
Specifically:
The seat we place our Arses on is like the "weakest link" in the equation.
Thousands of dollars in Guns, Scopes, and BR equipment and then we contort our bodies on wobbly stools or old office chairs to find a reasonable eyebox to do our best shooting. What's up with that?

I've seen all kinds of seats.... including the fixed "made to be part of the BR" seats and quite frankly they mostly all suck.

Anybody found the perfect seat or way to park your Arse on whilst behind your scope?
