N/A Table upgrade

Last week I stopped in the air gun shop as usual and scored a scope for a rifle on order. I see this big box by the door, but go home with my scope and rings. While working on my project all week I’m thinking about that box. In it a shooting table. This week I go there and the box is mine. A little upgrade.
I was using a Stable table. I added the feet, which I got from a 5x10 Brunswick pool table.

I’ve put hundreds of hours on this table.
This one might be a delux Stable table.

The big difference is a double gusset on each leg, a pivoting foot and of course the top. Also each leg has adjustment, the older only one.

And here’s the difference in the two. And finally christening it with an HW 77 .25. Really like the wing that holds your arm.

definitely more rigidity.
i’m gonna put the other table on the other side of my porch which is 40 feet away and will give me a different view on there range. Also if someone pops in, it’s nice to have two tables. Crow

Nice...could you share the dimensions of the top?

great addition !! and very portable too . I too need a new table top mine is just indoor plywood and the ply's are separating now .

Do you notice that the new one feels more solid in its construction too or is it just the larger and nicer tabletop? I've been considering buying one of these for use with powder burners for some time now as when I shoot them I typically end up somewhere off in the national forest shooting from a kneeling or prone position.

Your table looks great, but for me it would be spending a lot of time riding in the bed of a truck and I'd probably be better served by a plastic or plywood top. I really like the arm support on the side though and I suppose I could make a cover for it to protect the finish.

This one is way more rigid. They also put a sleeve in it allow it to pivot much smoother.
My table is outside 24-7. Not going to solve your problem.
If the wind blows my table gets wet. So I cover it with a moving blanket to a sob moisture. The plastic I tie a knot at the front with 2 corners and wrap the plastic around and tie the last 2 corners tight. Works flawless.

The little quilt I use for the seat. Doubles as protector to moisture.
I’ve only used this table a few times and am happy. I did catch my elbow on that arm, hopefully last time.

looks good. I may have to pick up some good oak lumber and make an upgraded top for mine. Currently I have a folded heavy canvas tarp over the plastic top, then leave my old Bald Eagle front rest and a rear bag on it permanently. THose I cover with a somewhat rectangular(rounded end) galvanized wass tub, then another canvas tarp and finally a large synthetic barbecue grill cover that extends down to the ground.
