I’m new to swaging slugs. I have a pressslug and set it up but don’t know what settings with the dies I should use etc. I’m swaging .22 slugs. And what lube are people using to swage? Thanks y’all.

Just make some different length slugs and see what your gun likes. I make about 10 different weight slugs and try them and see what my gun like best. I usually do 5gr difference. For lube I just spray the lead with silicone spray.

What size die did you get. I ordered the .22cal. die which Air Force showed as 17.3 for the .22 and I got 16.1 which are too small. I like the Preslug setup but they don't offer the dies they advertise. They show 3 different .22 die sizes but only supply the smallest one.

I don't have it in 22 cal. I do have it in 177, 25, 30 and 357. The only one I have not had shoot awesome is the 177, but I only tried that in my RedWolf.
