Results OKCGC Airgunners Field Target results. 8-17-2024

OKCGC Airgunners had their August Field Target match at the beautiful Archery range. Yes, it was hot and humid. It WAS also raining east and to the north of the range. Rick told me he drove through the rain and hoped it was good in OKC, which was, thank you Lord. We wanted a good day for the shooters, and it was! It was in the upper 90’s and pretty humid to boot. That did not keep 18 great shooters from coming out! Thank you All. We set out 30 targets on 15 lanes with 2 position lanes, those aren’t always easy but our guys like the challenge! They keep getting better and better each match.
Caleb topped off a 1st place. With Rick C. for the 2nd place and Mike Atwell for 3rd. Good shooting guys.
We have a new shooter Kem Smith. Kem came with his brother Bob Smith, which was Bobs 2nd match, I think. Thanks for bringing your brother out!
Gideon (youth) was with his father and shot well! Thanks, Dad, for bringing him out, he is a good kid! We love having him join us!
Thanks for all the help before and after the match guys. Life is good!

We (the Tulsa crew) always have a blast traveling to OKC to shoot regardless of the discipline. Randy, Pearl and the support group they have put on a great match. I really miss seeing and shooting with some of the original FT guys from the past few years. If this is you, get your gear and your butt back on the stool and sticks, support your local club and have some fun like you use to! It won’t be too hot to shoot at the September match.
Show the FT community OKC can get a THIRTY shooter count at just a club match!
BTW, the picture above near the bottom of the OP of Mike Atwell with his hand in the air, I thought he was “victory air fist bumping “. (He is actually pulling the reset string).
