Daystate Daystate Alpha/Delta Wolf groups, tunes and photos.

Hello, the Delta Wolf in the picture isn't mine so i cant give you the dimensions right now. Ive ordered an Alpha Wolf Safari .22 with 28'' slug barrel and 580cc bottle, but im still waiting on the rifle. He'll probably arrive this week. When i got hm I'll give you the dimensions and ill post a picture in this thread so you can see the proportions.
And can you tell me how the barrel preforms? i haven't seen much accuracy results of the barrel jet so im very curious. And what caliber do you have? Would be nice if you can post some pictures of the rifle and the groups that you've shoot 🙂.
my alpha wolf safari .25 hp is my most accurate pellet shooter and it shoots around 800 pellets without fouling. even shooting 33.95g at 980fps is accurate.

nice! is 33.95 at 980fps maxing out the power capacity? What is your shot count at this power?
Its slightly under a Warp tune which is max power and wastes some air with higher dwell time. I run 172 bar on the reg under the recommended 180 bar and slightly lower dwell time. I get about 2.5 mags which are 12 shot each. Rangemasters are the rifles prefered pellet.

oke and have the dwell time a huge impact on the power to? like the Voltage? or is it more as a fine tune?

I might also add that the short barrels are very accurate! The longer barrels need a bit more speed to match accuracy because they are made different polygonal v ? @Franklink can chime in about this.
Imagine one gun that can be .177/.22/.25/.30 and tuned within 10 minutes once you get the routine down
I don't want to come across as whining, but I know this is how it's going to so please pardon. I would love to do this barrel swap but how can I do a short barrel .22 and valve swap for under $900. I mean, sheesh there are plenty of good guns well under that. Am I wrong here? I hope I am bc this was a big selling point for me on this gun. Then I find out that it is $900 to do it. That rings the bs gong pretty hard.

3rd of sept: .I m considering the new performance. What reg pressure can be expected on the Delta Wolf .177 performance with 20g slugs? 195bar on the regular Delta Wolf for 20g slugs is alot of pressure.
Today is the 28th of sept and the answer to your question is nobody really knows but it is interesting. Another question is how it shoots with 22 and 24grain solids?..

just a fine tune since the higher the dwell time the longer the valve stays open even after the pellet isnt going faster so its just wasting air
This is second hand, I don't know this for myself, but the dwell time you want short as can give you the velocity you want because you don't want extra air following the pellet out the barrel.
Again, just second hand info, does this make sense or no?
It SEEMS to me that it helps my accuracy with .30 using JSB 44.75
Thoughts?

I have found the answer
The Delta wolf doenst shoot zan 20g slugs at desired speed 970fps. It needs smaller pin probe and bigger transfer port - both for more air behind slug. The upcoming dw performance should be able to handle it - just like the upcoming brk ghost performance
