I went to the local flea market today, like I do every Saturday, weather permitting. Although I already have a couple of these Beeman Sportsman's, (one NIB), this one was cheap so I now have three. The first one, another wood stocked one, only had the .22 barrel when I bought it, the second one has both the .177 and the .22, still in the box. This one today has only the .177 barrel.
I tried it out when I got home and shot twice at a target about the size of a quarter, at about 20 yards and hit it both times. When I have some shade in my yard I will shoot it more, at a longer distance. The temp currently is near 100, so I'm inside enjoying the ac.

I had one.gave it to a friend that was interested in shooting airguns. He really liked it, and now has several rifles. I replaced the insert with a Bisbee turquoise cabochon I cut. Have fun with them.

The gun shoots great, like the other 3 or 4 like it that I have. The biggest issue, that I didn't notice until I got it home, is the caps over the adjusting screws on the scope are missing. The Benjamin scopes on my other guns seem to be holding up well so I plan to use it until it fails. I would like to replace the caps though. Anybody know a source?

How big are they. I have lots more...

I figure measuring ID of the cap and OD on the turret there is the difference of threads. All of mine are too big or too small.

I measured my Hawke turret at .90. Tasco too. The inside of the caps are about .887.

I bet they would fit. I don't have extras. You could find one. Plenty of dead ones out there. I bet Tasco made that Beeman scope. Tasco caps might fit just right.
