Umarex Umarex ZELOS Review & Tuning Guide (48 foot pounds in .22) It's a BEAST!

This gun is as good as we hoped it would be. And a power house! Here is a full accuracy review as well as a guide on how to tune it for 25.39gr at 915 FPS using the HST and Reg adjustment. That's 48 foot pounds in .22! (the website says 26 foot pounds). It also says 25 shots per fill but you may get 50 shots + per fill if you turn the power down to shoot lighter pellets. It's shooting 40+ foot pounds out of the box. Thanks for watching! -Nate

Pretty cool looking rifle. I wonder how much energy the .25 makes?

When you had the .22 tuned up to 920 fps with the 25.4 grain pellets how many shots were you getting?

Is the rifle anodized or painted black?

Does yours have scratches covered over with black marker ink to hide them?
No scratches on mine. It got 18 shots before it fell off the reg at the power tune in the video. That's why I would rather shoot 18gr or 16gr at 890 FPS and I'll bet it will get 40-50 shots. I am hoping the .25 is not just a .22 with a .25 barrel. It would have horrible shot count and not much power. But it probably is.

From a Youtube commet:

" I tuned mine down to 1800 PSI on the reg, dialed the hammer spring, and it shoots 18.13 JSBs like a laser. Plus, I'm getting two full mags with 300-ish PSI left in the tank. It's sending those 18g JSBs at 940 fps with amazing consistency. I love this gun. It shoots just as good as my Throne Gen 2 after I got it dialed in for 940 FPS with the same pellet. Same hole and puppy toes all day. Killa! "

I assume you got your airguns for free, from the manufacturer.
Maybe that is why you have no negative reviews.

As to your "tunes", there is no explanation of what they are and how to get them.

The whole last half of the video explained the tune and how to get it. I literally did it from start to finish on camera. There is not way to quantify the HST position. I don't have anything negative to say about the Zelos. I can't just make stuff up. I have got guns that suck many times...and I send them back. You don't get to be on my channel if you make poor quality guns. All the guns really do great these days, and I mean ALL of them. If your PCP doesn't do dime/nickle groups at 50 yards, it will NEVER sell in the USA. Not in 2024...heck no!

Oh yeah, I did say the shot count sucked. Even mentioning the 25 shots per fill is negative. Got my bottle conversion though now.

Got my bottle conversion though now.

Conversion?
Is it going to be a "Paul's Power Slug Kit" and bottle conversion by any chance ????
A video on that conversion, would be certainly capture my attention, as Im suddenly leaning in that direction with my .25 Zelos.
I have a feeling the kit is going to be a huge hit, based off the Notos trend!

Not the power kit, Just a M60 Bottle Valve and bottle.
