How is the show coming along? I'm interested as I can make it a vacation from CA to see my brothers in Indiana and enjoy my hobby.

Wow missed the previous messages. Interesting in this one. A bit of a drive, but would still be worth going to see what’s there. Looks like you are looking at the weekend after the MWAGS in Columbus, OH.

I couldn’t get the dates that I wanted for the venue and I didn’t get much of response earlier so I just dropped the endeavor.

I live about 35 miles from Lafayette and know of several others who would attend the show. Please send updates about the show or your plans at this point.

Hey @baranjhn , if we can’t put a full show together, maybe we could organize a shoot/swap meet? There’s gotta be someone with some land that would let us show up, shoot, trade, eat, etc. Maybe Baker would be willing to drive out with a booth and sponsor it? I could give them a call and see what they say.
I’d also be willing to try and help organize another show near Lafayette. A co-chair kind of thing, perhaps? Just thinking out loud here…

I’m not sure there is enough interest. The venue is 2k for the day and could hold about 75 tables. I only had 5 people respond that they’d want a table.

I was looking at the fairgrounds. Now a swap meet and shoot is another matter maybe.

Maybe we start with a shoot ‘n swap first and see how that goes? We could grow it from there into a show if it seems feasible, and if not then we at least have a good weekend of shooting and what not that we could hold every year or so.

I’ve got a few acres but very little parking. Also I have a steep hill that we’d need to walk down. Could be good for a first meet until something more accessible turns up
