AEA Bintac T9 air leaking

Hello all, new guy here; this is my first post!

I am the proud owner of a Bintac T9 - I have had her since June 29 (purchased on the 15th). My pistol has had a full tin of 9mm pellets - the ones that came with the gun - fired through it with ZERO operational issues.

This last time I took her out to the range was no different. cycled through both mags multiple times with no issues.

When I got home, I decided to dump the rest of the air in one of my small refill tanks into the T9. After doing so, I heard a hissing noise, and could hear it through the barrel. I looked at the air gauge and it was at the border of green and red - so plenty. The hissing would not go away - gun was not cocked. I pulled out the charging (cocking) lever a teeny bit, and noticed the hissing to get louder.

Within 5 minutes all the air leaked out.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

-Marlon

Stock up on some valve pins/valve seats. I think the issue with these is actually the seat and not the pin come to think of it. My HP Max had a single piece metal pin/poppet and a plastic donut shaped seat that was the fragile part.

One way to look at these HP Max guns is that the valve pin/seat is consumable, and you just need to replace it every couple of tins.

Inevitably someone will make (has already made?) one that's more durable than the plastic AEA uses and that should solve it.

Already... damn.. and here I was hoping this model didn't have the stupid valve pin issue. AEA/BinTac really need to get their sh*t together. This keeps happening.

Instead of cranking out new model after new model, they should focus on getting it right. Parts are already hard enough to find for these airguns. Especially when they're brand new. Heck, there's not even an instruction manual for this thing yet. They just released it without any further info. Let alone an exploded diagram.
