Is anyone successfully using Zan or any other brand lead free with EQUAL OR BETTER ACCURACY than lead? I am not against them, just wondering not of theoretical but actual results from other than manufacturers ? ¿ ? Be Well Brothers, Bandito.
I have used their .177 8.5gr slugs and they shot well out of my At-44. I didnt get to try them in the impact at the time. By shot well I mean I was able to pull several half in groups at 44yds in 18-22mps winds. Is anyone successfully using Zan or any other brand lead free with EQUAL OR BETTER ACCURACY than lead? No, it technically end up scrapping whatever leads deposit is in your barrel, but it hasn't left any non lead deposits in my experience and I have used "rough" hatsan barrelsCurious if the non-lead impact the use of regular lead pellets. Does the non-lead material “foul” the barrel in a different way?
Well, I shot them at 930fps, not sure what that equates to in FPE but Zan states to shoot out of a PCP only. Many sub12 airguns have failed to shoot then adequately and many even fail to leave barrel. Atleast in .177 if it makes 16-17fpe I would think you would be in the clear to shoot them.I'm thinking in terms of a BSA GAS RAM TECHNOLOGY or HW 90 in 177, 20, 22, and 25? B.
Gotcha gotcha, I apologize for the misunderstanding. The 177 is a BSA GRT I bought used from AOA. It is without blemish and still dieseling. The 20 is an HW 95 new, (spring piston). The 22 a BSA GRT. The 25 an HW90 new. All gas piston/ram except the HW95. I should refine my question. How do the non lead PELLETS shoot out of NON PCP AIRGUNS ? Benjamin multipump Silverstreak? Be Well, Bandito.
OK. Thx. The 177 at 8.5grs might break the sound barrier LOL I know 8gr pellets do..No, it technically end up scrapping whatever leads deposit is in your barrel, but it hasn't left any non lead deposits in my experience and I have used "rough" hatsan barrels
If you shoot it at over 22fpe then yeah, but remember these are lead free so they have more friction in the barrel due metal they're made from and also because they are slugs so they have more surface area to grab on to the barrel groovesOK.
