Best / quietest mod for an fx impact m4 .22?

I use a Donny Tatsu on my .22 compact and it is very quiet. At your power level, you may need a Shogun sized mod?
I am running FX Hybrids at 925 to 930ish for comparison.

HUMA moderators have worked the best in most of the airguns I use,.otherwise go for an STO moderator. The website name is Silent Thunder Ordinance

I have found the one that came with mine to be very quiet, I'm actually quite impressed with as quiet as it is considering it's just an empty can!

Utah airguns sells a baffle kit for the Impact "can" made by Impulse Air, called The Fix.
Works well in mine, used on a .22 M3 700mm .

If your gun is tuned properly, it doesn’t take much to keep it quiet. None of my three FX slug guns wear a mod longer than 4”.

Do your airguns have active shrouds? That should make a difference.

Just the standard shroud with the air stripper. No additional components in the shroud to enhance sound control.

Distinct from direct barrel attachment, is really the point I wanted to make. In the latter case a 4" long mod is unlikely to be enough, unless the goal is just hearing safe.

But your point about good tuning being important is rock solid.

What's worng with the one that comes with the M4? I have the .25 600mm copper M4 version. It's just as quiet as my .25 500mm m3 with a donny fl koi. You even barely hear them shoot even when you're next to them. The impact of the pellet / slug is louder.

So, it depends what you’re looking to get out of it. If you are looking to use this more as a fixed position sniper rifle and want max silence then the impact shroud works great, combined with the extension (which is a 6” long expansion chamber and a ronin at the end of it. I have a custom made STO, tried the emporer v3 with and without extension, I had the stock fx moderator, and I’ve got a Yokozuna. That’s all I can think of at the moment. Anyway with my impact nothing works better than the ronin with extension. It’s about a foot long. That would be allot if I were running and gunning. But I wanted the absolute quietest setup possible bar none. I shoot my m3 .357 all hours of the night hunting with my wife asleep in the master bedroom down the hall from my office of death . She never hears a thing. Says sometimes if she listens for the shot all she can hear is the “click” from the gun being cocked. From my point of view as the shooter it makes that big .35 cal an absolute joy to shoot. The impacts are considerably louder than the shot, so I try and watch my backdrops but my NSA slugs are pretty hard, and will go through any animals skull and hit the tree behind it. Anyway, hopefully my compulsion in spending on silence has helped you in some way. I in the future won’t buy another moderator without a large expansion chamber. Makes a huge difference… someone already recommended Huma Air. I would very much like to try one of their mods.

Also, I see you are using the KNF is it? The Tripod? It keeps coming up on my Amazon feed for a new tripod. They look super cool, definitely adds to the flavor of your gun I’d say. How is it? Do you get any flex in the legs? Stability? I use a death grip. Works pretty well as it’s heavy, and my gun or at least that gun is stationary.
