Strelock , what the H?

shooting Maverick 700 x 25 x 24 twist, JSB Mark II. 872 fps. zeroed 45 yds. 3" scope height. No Wind. Athlon BTR 6x24. shooting on 16x
okay here we go. this thing shoots aces @ 100, 125,150!
Strelock says 100 3.6 Actual 1.8
125 5,8 3.8
150 8.3 5.8
I really can't figure this out. is there a problem with the program? I doubt it! what would be a work around to adapt ranging?
while I'm at it, why does Strelock drag information in other rifles programs. if I put a drop profile in on this gun and then I go to a cricket it uses the mav profile in the cricket or what ever gun. Hep Me!!!

Two things to double check with SP. 1. Scope hgt . It must be correct. If using adj mounts, measure from bell. 1/4" off can cause havoc. 2. Gun must have exact zero at certain distance. If you can't break toothpicks it's not zeroed. Get these 2 things correct and good timed are ahead. Don't "Trajectory validation " feature.

Are you using the correct ballistic coefficient profile (GA)?

Is scope height 100% certain and not rounded? 3" seems like a lot, my scope with the tall rings is 2".

Did you enter in your elevation correctly? (altitude)

Outside of those figures I am stumped as well, best of luck. Here is chairguns data with all your inputs.

OOOH the questions. working on it. too hot in the afternoons.
Definitely go over all the things these guys have suggested. If you’re still out of whack, make sure you’re BC is right. We can do .070 but we can’t do 0.70. If your decimal and number is good, play with the speed you have entered and see what happens.

Somebody above said it wrong or easy to misunderstand..... "If using adj mounts, measure from bell"

If the front and rear rings the same height = 0 MOA, yes you can help measuring from a bell.
But if the scope is angled (just anything like 10 or 20 MOA) ... you need to measure from the center box below where the elevation is nested...usually it is flat bottom.

Next... Strelok remembers one Zero Distance for each gun you have in profiles, let say gun A at 45y gun B at 100y gun C at 75 y.
But when you wanna calculate your clicks for 55y for example, each gun profile you load that single distance of 55y will come up buy "default".

At least this how mine works on droid tablet, and updating it pretty frequently.

Check your scope height
Verify your velocity
Check the ammo you have selected in program

If you are 100% sure you are right on everything, and you have validated it multiple times, then and only then use the validation feature. If something is off on any of the numbers then using the validation will REALLY mess things up.

That is where I would start. Also make sure you have the correct scope selected in the program. There are many scopes that offer an MOA and a MIL option for the same line of scopes. I have made that mistake when you go to the reticle option to see where you should aim.

I would like to own up to my tremendous mental acuity and observational skills. The trouble I was having was using a mil hash athlon Argus BTR 6x24 this is a 1/10 click reticle with six click per revolution. well when I was figuring out how what my holdover would be I was taking for granted it was a five click the revolution . that's what happens when you have all MOA Scopes except for one and you forget it's particulars. at least I'm honest about it
