Beeman Beeman Underlever: two questions

1: Is it normal to only get 2 mags out of a fill? I am experimenting with adjusting the hammer spring to see if counterclockwise adjustments will help.

2: Have you found that the larger Buck Rail suppressor negatively affects trajectory and speed? (Not a criticism of Buck Rail; I own a bunch of their excellent products, notably the Beeman 2027 conversion.)

My Underlever is in .22 caliber.

I intend to obtain a chronograph so as to get answers to these. Until then, thanks in advance for your help.

I picked up the regulated version in 177. Terrible shot count, (2 mags) loud AF, and a ton of hammer bounce. I made a debounce device for it and a custom shroud. I now get 60 to 65 shots with 8 grainers at 930 fps. The HDD made it quieter and then the Crossman Nitro piston baffle and shroud made it really freakin' quiet.
With some trigger mods it's now a fun gun to shoot.
Let me know if I can help.

Thank you for that information. I am going to return it because it just doesn’t “work” or “fit” for me. After you read this I’ll delete the post if I can.

If they give you any hassles on the return let me know
Thank you for that. There‘s a fellow named Cameron working at Pyramyd‘s customer service who has been helpful in the past also. I figure if the shipping cost for this heavy piece is unreasonable I’ll just keep it and chalk it up to ”live and learn.” Crazy thing is I bought accessories from Buck Rail - suppressor with its special parts and the picatinny barrel band for a bipod (yeah, I bought the bipod and a scope for the rifle, too!) - but that’s OK.
