Hydro testing is being done on CF bottles, it is destructive, that's already been explained and proper documentation provided.
Why is it done still? Because it's cheap and they can.

For those that are following this trainwreck, be advised that the data in the shared link is the current reasoning behind CF bottle testing and the "new" 30 year lifespans on properly marked CF bottles.
Hydro testing limits CF bottle lifespans to 15 years due to the nature of the test. This will not affect your bottles 15 year life nor the subsequent 2 tests that will have to be performed on your bottles if you wish to stay current with testing.

Heck, I would have paid the $10 "24 Hour Leak Test" But I figured the word "Refurbished" meant ready to use and the Guy on the Phone telling Me that it was, meant "Good to Go"! LOL How Silly of Me!

That is My plan. The problem is knowing proper valve/threads components etc. I just bought what I was told would work. I would rather have a "plug and Play" type of system. I live where there are little to no parts availability, and the buying/shipping back and forth has no appeal for Me.
