Airgun Technologies Vulcan 3 back to basics…

Not a fan so far of the digital scope. Would be pretty mad at myself had I spent 700 but wow the gun. Straight out of the box mid 880 - 900 with 44.75 and perfect accuracy. Will make a great woods walker especially when I throw my Blackhound on it. .30 cal 500 mm. Two 51 yard 5 shot groups with a crappy digital scope. If you want a simple gun you don’t have to tinker with the Vulcan is the ticket.

Amazing groups with your Vulcan 3 even with a crappy digital scope! Nice pics 👍
Thanks man. I had to try one of these scopes even though I knew I wouldn’t love it. Just expected a little clearer image quality. You put decent zoomies in it for 50 yards and the image is good enough but….700 bucks will buy you super clear regular glass.

Your welcome and yup, 700 bucks will get some nice glass for sure!

In the world of digital, I wouldn't recommend anything less than thermion if you want oerfect image clarity. And at those starting prices you could get 10 Arken SH4-J.

Congratulations on the vulcan! They are amazing shooters right out of the box!

Definitely shoot your V3's regularly - Mine (.30 and .22) didn't like sitting around for too long and when I went to shoot them again I had issues. My .30 started to have a huge ES and the .22 started out shooting like 300 fps. Derrick Wall (zx10wall) is an excellent resource on these guns and I was going to send my .22 into him for work. He said that likely the OEM reg was creeping and the plenum pressure was getting so high that the hammer could not effectively knock the valve open. I thanked him for his on-line diagnosis (and offered to pay him for his expertise, but he refused), and bought Huma regulators for both guns.

As excellent as the V3's are out-of-the-box, they are even a little better with Huma regs installed. After installing them into my V3's and seeing the results, I got one for my Uragan (V1) Standard as I wanted to more easily tune it up to be a 25.4 pellet shooter. With the Huma reg this was a piece of cake and I have re-fallen in love with my Uragan.

AGT definitely makes some fine guns, which the user can make even a little bit better. I do still need to de-ping my V3's as they are older guns made before the factory started installing the internal de-pingers.

I know a guy here locally that has a reg tester. That is another great thing about these guns. The reg is super easy to get to and doesn’t have any orings you need to cast a magical spell on to dig out or get them into there mysterious locations not to be seen by man. lol. I also don’t fill to 300 bar. Keep it 250-270. Hopefully a bit less stress on the reg.
