Has anyone shot the Crosman and Benjamin 14.3 Gr Pellets side by side? Is one better than the other? I have been seeing them in 500 count and thought I would ask. Thanks.

They are pretty much the same. I have several guns that shoot the Benjamin very well. Use the 177 750 count and also the .25

After comparing the both I noticed the Benjamins were cleaner. Crosmans had a some type of dry lube on them.

Neither my Nova Freedom nor the Umarex Gauntlet like the Benjamin pellets ( single die ) in .22 cal and yet both guns shoot the Crosman HP fairly well, 1/2 in groups, at 30 meters.

Friendly speaking, I don't have much experience with Benjamin pellets. I usually go for Crosman, they are cheaper and have a wider selection of pellet shapes and types, and I never had issues with them. So, I vote for Crosman here

Just out of curiosity I compared the two side by side. Other than the weights, they appear to be exactly the same.

I recently spoke with the gentleman at airgun revisions . He stated benjamin pellets are not repackaged crosmans. So i tried the 14.3 Benjamin discovery pellets in my marauder. Much tighter groups than the crosman premieres. Easily under a dime at 40 yards.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the 27.8gr Discoveries grouped at 50 yards from my Taipan Veteran 2, though the FX 25.4’s did a little better and are less expensive. Of course, neither is available locally.

From what I've seen, benjamins have done better in my use. And I've placed them through quite a few different barrels.

What ones ? There the new Benji $20 a tin or the cheaper discovery or the cheaper black tin ? .22 or .177 ?
As far as them high end or $$ ones you could just tumble clean / lube the cheaper and be about as good off .. lol.

Haven't tried the black tin yet only the discos vs walmart crosman. What does that tumble clean and lube look like?
