N/A Walther Parrus Teardown

I have a .Parrus 22 that I bought many years ago when they were on Close out for not a lot of money. I don't shoot it often because frankly It's hard to shoot super accurately compared to a tamer spring gun. Don't get me wrong 1" groups at 25 yd are not that hard to get, but I'm used to touching shots with lower energy tuned spring guns.
Well , I got it back out and i'm shooting it a little bit better but decided to take a look at the guts.
I decided not to look at a schematic because it's just too easy. I screwed up initially by taking the plug out of the back before taking the trigger off. But then realizing what I'd done, but it was too late. I gently took the other pins out holding it with tension. Only a slight parts explosion but I recovered them all. I'm too lazy to make a spring compressor I just use a bar clamp mostly.
Everything was just greasy as heck. And all I did was make a new t top hat that was a little tighter and i used Maccari molly and tar for the reassembly.
When assembling the trigger group, making a little slave pin to hold the trigger in was helpful. Because the trigger cross pin Is part of the system that holds a trigger group to the receiver.
Anyway the gun is a little less violent sounding but still a magnum springer.
I'm going to take it out a little later today with a scope and see if it helped.

The spring , by the way , is the same diameter as a Diana 34 just much longer. I thought about putting the 34 Spring in there just for giggles , but it is about a 1/2 inch short of even any pre load.
my god the barrel droop in this thing is hideous.
