After 3 tins (750) of H&N 11.42 my HW95 has settled in nicely. Cocking is smooth and im getting a an SD of 1.7fps. Speed has dropped considerably from the first week but still a respectable 750fps average. This is my 3rd HW, 2nd 95 and 1st .20. This one seems to be the smoothest most accurate of the 3. I think I'll keep her.

She's a beaut. It's pretty normal for power to come down in the first couple of tins. Weihrauch puts them together a little sloppy with the lube. It's normal for new guns to get a boost from dieseling the assembly lube. For a while it was excessive enough to burn through piston seals and weaken springs on these guns. It seems to happen less now. Just keep a log on your gun if it continues to drop much more break it down.

Keep an eye out if the fps keeps dropping- lot of the newer seals seem to develop cracks along the inner edge of the face depression... nice rifle.

Nice score. I like that.
To me, and I don’t understand why, but all my .20 cal. seem to be superior in accuracy. I’m only shooting 47 yds. max.
‘I had a HW98 .25 on order with AOA a few months ago. They got back to me recently and said the 98 is no longer available. My panic was instantly relieved when the salesman mentioned the 95 in Walnut .25 cal. I have the other 3 cal. Seeing yours is an added bonus. Nice gun, enjoy that gem. Crow

I have an old HW55 .177 , wonder if i could make it a .20 ? change barrel and block ? Hmmm ?

I wanted and spoke for an HW90 and someone beat me to it on a weekend. So when the salesman explained he had a 95 in walnut, 20 cal I took it. But I have yet to shoot enough to break it in like Coastal Drifter has. Which one of youse guys was the culprit on that HW 90 in 20? Ha Ha, Be Well Brothers, Bandito.

Please don't mess with a 55. I thought they had a unique locking system that wasn't interchangeable with other Weihrauchs? I don't think the 55 was ever sold as a 20. Plus a 55 is a lower power rifle and 20 caliber might be too much for it? Mike Driskill is the guy to ask about these things.

What you need is an HW55SF. Pretty rare. It has a chisel lock up and perhaps an HW50 barrel will fit. And why would you want a .20 HW55? To feed the .20 myth? OK. It's your'n.
