I will continue to hope and pray for safety for those in the path of the hurricane. We expect to see some rain several hundred miles away. Seems like a big serious storm.

I don't miss the hurricanes! Too bad my wife's family is still down there in the Big Easy. True story: We moved up to NY in 2007 to get away from those things... five years later, we got pounded by Sandy! But hey! At least I don't have to make the gut-wrenching decision once or twice a year to stay put or risk evacuation. Stay safe down there, y'all!

At this moment in Baton Rouge it's lite rain ,with winds picking up. Prepared to the max and even aired up all rifles for wild varmint that come out after big storms .

Stay Safe and Please pay attention to rising water. Debbie was only a tropical storm when it crawled through here, Charleston, S.C. We had over 12 inches of rain in 3 days. All of our rivers were well over flood stage.

Experiencing the hieght of the storm in the northern eye wall. It looks like we will see the calm of the eye in just a bit.

It was over shortly after that last post.
We never lost power, and I got up and went to work like normal. Very little damage at work however it was flooded there for a couple days.
