Mounting Bipod to bottle

"Hookster"Anyone know how to mount a rail to a 480cc carbon bottle besides the Dr. Bob mount? I really don't want to drill into my new gun. Seems like there is a market that is not being filled from my internet searching that has yield me nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
I think this is a market that shouldn't be filled. The bottles shouldn't be used to attach bipods to (unless the bottle is fixed to the gun with more contact points than only the threading).
The point where the bottle attaches to is designed to hold the bottle and not to support the gun on that point. During each shot the connection from bottle to breach will become a pivot point when used on a bipod that's attached to the bottle. Therefore there is a chance to speed up the wear of the threads/attachement nipple.

Best solution is still to drill holes in your stock and attach a rail there.

Another solution if you want to mount the bipod further to the front is to use an extension bridge that's attached to the rail on the stock and is only lightly supported by the bottle. When fixing this bridge the "bottle clamp" only starts touching at the very last fastening turn, this is to prevent excessive forces on both the very thin piece of wood under the bottle and the bottle itself.

I’ve showed this before but after I installed the rail on my Crown the bipod in the center of the rifle was not balanced for accurate shooting. I made an extension from an aluminum pipe and scope rings which allows me to move the balance point forward. It definitely makes the rifle more accurate to shoot off the bench.

I really like this solution, nice work.

I'm another who would mount anything to a bottle, even if you are careful ( and it should be safe but, nah) anyone else using it might not be.

If you really do not want to drill holes in your $2,500 rig, any regular gunsmith ( and Good gunsmith) should be able to hook you right up asap w/out worry. Now NOT the Kid at Big-5 but try any gun shop. They will enjoy seeing your rig and likely even be polite when you say how well it groups at , HAHAHA what range?

Maybe post up a pic when you figure out which way to go.

Apparently I offended someone by saying thank you for the ideas. Got a negative grade for saying thanks for all the ideas. Apparently some really thin skinned people. Kinda shocked, but we are in a new world now.

Heh, the buttons aren't spaced out very well.. maybe someone tried to give you a positive grade, but using their phone - clicked the wrong one?
