I've a Hatsan 44TA-10 for many years and after setting for about that long was still about 1/2 filled. I gave it a few shorts and all went well. Went to totally refill and the fill probe o rings were gummy and bad. Replaced and it fill just fine. I just ordered another BSA scope for the neat rifle. Sure glad it's still in good working order. Just wish it had a single shot adapter. Charles
