No interest in .177. GK1 had my interest because of compactness and sbr possibilities. After trying the K1, I just don't like the fixed mag and pellet/slug picky. As far as semi-auto, if its like the K1 ... great shot count, power, and fun factor. .22 is my favorite, but dabbled or dabbling in .25 and now .30. If I could send a cannon ball at a sparrow without breaking the bank account, I would. Seeing and hearing the energy transfer with anything heavier in any caliber is a treat for me. I've read tons of positives on the GK1 so worth a try and buy in whatever caliber floats your boat. Get one if you can.
