Talon Tunes WTF?!?

I buy an M4 from this guy early Sept. 13th (priority). Didn't get any notification of the rifle being shipped. Gave it a few days, still nothing, just said processing. So i message him and asked him when does it ship, He responds back I'll get it out to you tomorrow.
Next day he calls me and tells me he had a little hiccup and was was shipping the m4 but it wouldn't included the m4 magazine. Said I'm sending it with the M3 magazine and when the M4 mag arrives I'll get it out to you asap. I said what happened to the m4 mag? He said sometimes these things happen but good for you. you'll have two mags lol
I said well I'm going to contact fx to see why they're shipping m4's without magazines. He responds don't do that you'll mess me up. (Whatever that meant). Anyway i told him I'll be filing a Paypal case. Within a few minutes I get a notice from paypal of a refund. Still haven't gotten the cash back in my account yet. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I don't know that I'd throw him under the bus with FX over the magazine ordeal, but...I am deeply curious as to why there was a mishap. Either way, hopefully you find a dealer you're happy to do business with after this buggered transaction

Sounds like to me Tony may have oversold on the mags, that can happen.

Example:
A customer buys an M4 and wants 1 or 2 spare mags, this being 1) a New model and 2) an FX which is notorious for rushing things to market with limited stock, and parts support
So the extra mags may be in short supply, thus in turn Tony pulls the mags for the forementioned above customer and there you have the "out of mags issue"

It sounded like Tony was trying to do right by you by giving a Free m3 mag until his M4 stock shows up...

The ONLY real issue I see in this whole deal was a lack of communication on his part explaining the situation...
I would bet you a dollar to a donut he was playing the waiting game on the inventory (mags) which in turn slowed your order down.

I am NOT saying that is what happened in your case...
What I am saying is it may be a plausible explanation.....

You got your money back, move on....
 
Sorry as an online vendor in a different industry if one of my customer says they are filing a PayPal case as the first thing they say then I refund them instantly.

Why did you threaten a PayPal case without just asking for a refund / cancel / discount.

I don’t know the circumstances or either party but I would have done the same thing. Sorry but you’re just one of those customers.

In retail this type of customer is referred to as a 2%er...

As a business owner for over 18 years I have found that there will Always be that 2% that can NEVER be satisfied, No Matter you do as a business..
Tony absolutely did the right thing , refund and be done.. Life is too short
yada yada yada.... yawn
