New Discovery LPVO with side focus

Any update? I ordered on 9/15 and should have mine 9/21. I did the 2-12.

Only tracking info I have was that it left the sorting center in China on the 14th. Nothing else.

I chose the free shipping option & I think they were estimated to get here around the 21st.

Are you getting yours that quickly with the free shipping option?

Oh yeah I don't pay for shipping if there is a free option. I just hope it comes eventually. Better than paying for it and doing the same 😂

Any update on yours @rob_g ?
I got mine last week. A set of rings came with it but the scope just slides in them. I've ordered a set of Westhunter off Amazon and they came in today. I haven't tried to mount it yet. I was trying to keep straight dovetail mounts without any adapter so my options were limited with the 34mm tube size.

I got the scope mounted tonight but not sighted in yet. As it is FFP the reticle is super fine at 1X but the illumination takes care of that as it acts as a red dot. I'm sighting in the rifle for 19 yards so I'll see what 8X is like then. The rifle is an AA S510 .22 sub-500 fps (haven't run it over the chrony yet) so I didn't think it needed a 6-24 scope.

Lol jokes on me. It gave me a day that it would be delivered but checking on it today I realize it only says label created. So doubtful I will get it anytime soon.

My two scopes just showed up. Don't see any chance to play with them much before next week but initial impressions are good.

Both shipped with battery installed. Not sure if a fresh battery will help, but daytime illumination is poor, as I expected at this price range.

I am seeing some illumination bleed on both but I haven't adjusted the diopters yet. Maybe that will improve.

Magnification ring on both feels a bit gritty.

Turrets feel good for the price point.

Compared to the Vector Veyron 3-12x44 FFP, these both seem to have usable reticles at minimum power. Holdover hashes aren't distinguishable at minimum powers, of course, but I can pick up the center of the reticle on both.

The 1-8x24 has a wider FOV than the 2-12x24.

The 1-8x24 is massive. The 2-12x24 is quite compact.

Depth of field seems forgiving on both scopes.

Hopefully I can get them mounted & start adjusting the diopters next week.

I just got mine today also. I got the 2-12x24. One interesting thing though.....I ordered 1 scope. 2 got delivered today. Both the same scope. I contacted Discovery to see what they want to do. I didn't open the 2nd one.

Anyways the very little time I've looked through it I think I'm really going to like it. Reticle is very easy for me to see at 4x and 6x. Even 2x isn't bad. For a $160 scope I think it's great. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have time to get it setup on my Evol Mini.

Found some time. It fits really nice on there.
