FX Is the FX Impact M4 the Fastest Airgun Ever?

Is the FX Impact M4 the fastest Airgun EVER? Back-to-back speed competitions with various versions of the FX Impact suggest a resounding YES! But what makes this platform so quick?

After talking with 2024 Pyramyd Cup Speed Champion, Adam Migel of Team Utah Airguns, I totally get it now. So I’m in the process of building a compact speed demon on the FX Impact M4 platform. I spent a TON of time hunting Prairie Dogs with the M4 this summer and see how fast target acquisition in a target rich environment makes the M4 hands down one of the best and fastest options out there.

One of the things I’ve been testing this summer is pairing Element Optics Immersive scopes for speed competition with their insanely wide field of view. But I had an idea….In my testing a 5x and 10x Element Immersive scopes are GREAT for this kind of shorter range fast shooting in competition. Each distance is a hold over so what if I could set up the HYPR7’s BDC reticle for the specific ranges for each row of targets at Pyramyd Cup?I just tested this today and based on the speed and BC of a .22 pellet the Element Optics Ballistic App created a custom BDC reticle that would work PERFECTLY for this event!

Huge shout out to Adam Migel for bringing home the Pyramyd Cup for this event with his FX Impact MKII and inspiring me to take a deeper dive into the versatility of the FX Impact M4!

I just wanted to thank you for including some kind of information worth reading in addition to the link to your video. I generally come here to read more than watch videos so I keep scrolling when I see links promoting YouTube channels without text summarizing the info.

Ya I try to do a bit of a write up with every video. For any of this content to be useful is for it to start a conversation. Highlighting the gear I have tried, and what is working is a goal for my channel, but also would like to hear other people's thoughts on these topics. On social media quite a few people have brought up semi-autos as being the future of speed competition and there were a few people competing with semi-autos, but two manually cycled airguns made the finals in the speed competition. I think it might come more down to have fast the shooter can manipulate magazine changes too.
