my 3rd DNT Zulus HD 5-20.....

yep, this one will be a swing optic between my Mk2 crown compact and 2 PB guns, also any airguns i need to play with :sneaky:

my reason for buying them other than there awesome quality is they help my eyesight greatly in every condition from broad-open daylight til
cloudy midnights without the stars. not to mention its great profile storage

my kinda critter gun optic from hell.

Interesting, what others have you tried and how did they compare?
I have a clip on PARD and am considering upgrading to a dedicated unit.
i've had the atn xsight 4k pro, the regular xsight, pard 007, sightmark wraith, sightmark photon xt,
and a couple others and nothing comes close to the zulus in my opinion.

They are great scopes. I wish I liked mine more but I just can't prefer it over a regular scope. The video was amazing and having the ballistic calculator built in was next level. I just like "old fashioned" things so fancy high tech stuff and me usually don't get along to well. But amazing pieces of technology nonetheless.

What are you guys seeing as real world battery life?

Specs say 8 hours - not for me. I’m mostly daylight use, rangefinder and ballistic calculations on occasion, and I may be getting 4 hours out of a battery. Some video too.

I don’t really shoot in long sessions with it so admittedly it’s hard to judge. Mostly pesting with the scope on standby.
no rangefinder on any of mine, never used the ball calc, don't record much, unit on standby when pesting day and night. 5-6 hours tops.
i bought mine because of my eyesight, its a great thing to see that good !! 👍

Have to agree with your statement. Mine is on a PCP dedicated to nighttime pesting and plinking duties. My other PCPs wear conventional optics…
