Huben All Things HUBEN K1 - Master Thread

i have. i just installed the donnyfl adapter from AoA. it works
@daddypaddy Does it look like this?

i also have a question about my k1 .25cal. what’s the max fps i should be able to get with .250 36.2gr nsa? i’m currently shooting them around 920-930 fps with the reg at 1700-1800 and the power wheel at 18 clicks. i tried it with the same reg pressure and 25 clicks on the power wheel and it shot 1030-1047 fps with the same nsa .250 36.2gr. how fast can this thing push slugs at this weight or heavier? i wanna try for faster and heavier but i don’t really want to have to mess with my tune now. i just want to know what’s achievable by the gun.

@daddypaddy When I shoot down the loaded mag, I'll give it a shot. Thank you.
Mine required channel locks to remove, other than that I used the donnyfl 1/2x20 and it held with no problem.
i’m guessing that the pressure from all the shooting before removal locks the cap tightly into the threads.
Why would shooting the gun often affect the removal? Honest question.

I managed to get the 47gr Varmint Knockers to shoot 963fps or 973fps I can't remember which but it was 98 or 99fpe. Regulator was at 200b and the gun was at about 36 clicks. You may be able to achieve it with 190b and the 50gr altaros. I know some guys got to shoot the 50gr at aboit 920fps but it's not good for the gun or regulator to do it often

i was just assuming it would. lol other than over-tightening it, i can’t really think of anything else. i used to work on machines that required specific torque values on fastening bolts and my mindset is that everything is tightened to spec. i forget that airguns are not assembled like so.

thanks for the info. i’ll maybe try some heavier slugs in the future. i’m at a happy medium with weight to fpe to shot count. i love to tinker and it takes all of my effort to practice discipline and not touch the settings.
i’ve come to realize that airgunning not only teaches shooting discipline but also self restraint, among other things. 😅

This was my primary reaso for switching from an FX to a Huben last year. I couldn't stop tinkering and changing calibers and spending money when I had the stuff that already worked. Here I am again lol, but this time I have a GK1 and K1 so I have a pellet gun and a slug gun.

i'm glad my K1 .22 @ 71fpe is really not that loud at all.
about the same as my moderated crown mk2 @ 48FPE.
i have the DFL adapter but its never been installed.
i'm just running 15Mpa reg pressure and about 28 clicks.
But which shroud is on yours? Depending on which one you have they dampen the sound differently.

Tried these slugs today. They did well from 40 yards. Didn’t chronograph them yet. I honestly forget where I bought these. I’ve had them sitting for a while. The may be Varmint Knockers. I really don’t remember. Does this packaging look familiar to anyone?

Based on the size it looks like it's AVS slugs.
what ever it came with stock........it has 5 rows of vent holes towards the muzzle end.
i see ezana's has much more than that
Well there's also the carbon fiber shroud and the shroud that has the vent holes towards the back which is why I ask. But it seems you have the standard one, I believe mine is the same way.
