I don't get many shots at crows. They somehow know to stay away. I couldn't have killed it any faster with a 22 mag. It just fell, shot clear through. Bought this to shoot at coyotes at night. Soon as it freezes up I'm gonna try to call one it. Pretty confident I can head shoot one at 100 yards with the gun and it will kill it.

Definitely. They're not stupid AT ALL. You drop one and the word gets out. They won't come within 250 yards of you. I had one weekend in my main stay hunting permission. Dropped 5 of a 7 crow murder. Not one crow has come within a great distance since. They knew what happened. They kept flying down for their wounded, and after the 5th one bought it, the smarter 2 left and apparently warned every crow in the oakwood/Gainesville/flowery branch area... Never. Get a shot at them after the first incident at a given spot. So it must feel like a rare gift..

This one was the look out. I could hear the bulk of them down below the house. I was surprised to not see a few fly by after I plunked this one but they did not. Just shut up and disappeared. I've called them in woods before and they will come in flying low making no noise. You can hear their wings cutting through the air. No doubt one of our smarter birds.
