N/A gas rams

what brands have adjustable power gas ram ?
I am interested in experimenting ( read playing) with the FPE /speed
Thanks as their are most likely brands i am not aware of .
EDIT : any other pumps not HW Or a conversion fitting on a PCP hand pump ?
Only new guns that are break barrels were Hatsan and I think they stoped making them adjustable.
Tom Gore pre Covid made a adjustable ram prototype for the R9. Tom Gaylord reviewed but it never came to market.
Then it’s old Theoben with the bad Webley triggers. … no parts available and seals are impossible to get. Not for me.

Hi beerthief,
I have the Weihrauch HW90, which has an adjustable power gas ram. I can also confirm that it is fun to play with the ram pressure to tune the performance and accuracy.

Check out "Best fittings" out of England for an adaptor for air pump attachment.
Also, this thread was very informative:

Seems like I seen that too . My 2 hatsan got resealable and tuneable vortex rams , but there older 95 and a 25 .

Did seem like they wanted to get away from these older vortex rams failing and went maintenance free sealed type .

I j d k ...

Bad Webley trigger  ...........I have 3 Sirocco Deluxe (with spare seals). The triggers are actually very good. I've heard they were based on the Webley Omega trigger but look, they have nothing to do with a Webley Omega trigger. They have a fake two stage with a nice crisp release. Fairly light take up spring to a wall and SNAP. I never put a gage on one. Doesn't matter. They're fine. BTW earliest Siroccos had BSA Meteor triggers. To me, my Evolution has a strange trigger. First stage too stiff and doesn't allow you to feel the second stage well before it goes off. Many people complain about the Evo triggers. The spring is wrong. Some replace them. Some bend them. Some live with it. I actually prefer the Siroccos for the trigger, cocking, and power output.
Tom at Vortek sold the HW30 ram for a short while. Then it vanished.

They are not based on Webley Omega/Patriot trigger THEY ARE BAUGHT FROM AND EXACT WITH THIER OWN trigger BLADE ,to allow the blade SAFTY to work
Can they be ok ,yes at 11 ft to 15 ft lbs. load them and they are load relevant to pull.

identical ,welded cage and every sear as well as spring set up. Just different trigger blade which don’t effect the use ,it’s for the safety as with gas rams there is no rear plug safety ,like Webley guns
They did weld a lug to mount the trigger guard and to stop the action from moving.

Theobens were well thought but trigger design was a miss , I’m Working on a SLR 88 now and it’s not good and YOU CANT GET SEARS. LUCKLY ,IVE OWNED SEVERAL Patriots and have spares.
EVO is a two sear ledge pressure drop

I personally don’t collect ,I use and they are not my cup of 🍺

Looks fairly different than a Sirocco trigger. Similar blade though. Similar.
Hard to understand the text. Did you take grammar at school? 😮
Or too many cup of🍺?
I always respect and appreciate your knowledge and skills, believe me and many of us do but sometimes hard to decipher, brother

Ohh. Karl… I’m so ever insulted you can’t read bullet point text.. Ill try harder to make sure my conjunctions and prepositional phrases are put in the right places . By the way. WHAT are your pronouns. ?
🤔. I don’t want to insult you….

Maybe you should drink a 🍻 and chill out and read the hard line bullet points. I wasn’t TRYING to write a dissertation … I think “ her” feelings got hurt , by hearing her doll Theobens are not liked. .. 🤣

By the way. ,That Sirocco trigger is a pressure loaded two sear design, I’ll say clearly and concise. Like it or not, Theoben guns are well built with average to sh!t triggers.. Some work well ,until they don’t ..
It’s a subject all Theoben owners hush up at when mentioned. 😝
The burning truth ,albeit may hurt, is much better than a velvet lie to comfort the obvious. 🍻
