Veradium Air Taurus

That's where I purchased mine :) went in and grabbed it. John and his wife are fantastic

John having them in stock was the reason that I bought mine. I could go in, hold it, and get a feel.

@CTairgunner1288 That’s what was unclear when I clicked the link. I don’t recall seeing any indication that NEAG stocked them. I may have missed something there. Thanks for adding that bit. It makes a lot more sense.

Yeah he should have at least one left in stock :)

John's a great guy to deal with to , super helpful.

NEA and Veradium partnering is very cool to see. Very similar to how Airgun Revisions partnered with Don Cothran, it allows each party to focus on their strengths.

Hopefully the partnership flourishes.

100% and I have spoken and dealt with both owners and both are a pleasure to deal with.

Took my Taurus out for a run on Tuesday. Shooting the Griffin 185 boat tails. 10 unregulated shots from a 3800 psi fill yielded a nice group able to be covered with a 50 cent piece. Not bad, not bad. I love the gun so much, I’m having Brian build one in .257. I’ll keep you all posted on the results. Still working with Brian on fine tuning the .357 Taurus. I’ll share some numbers when we have it operating at optimal performance. Custom guns require custom attention. I’d encourage anyone looking for a high shot count, lightweight hunter to look no further than the Taurus.

@PNW1985 At what distance were shooting from to achieve that group? Were you laying prone, shooting from a benchrest with bags? How was the wind? Got any photos of the slugs and the group? How large was your widest group with that ammo?
50 yards, 5-8mph wind, from a bench with bags, no photos. That was my first group with that ammo. Interested in what I was wearing too? I feel like I should swear in prior to answering anymore questions. 😂 in all seriousness, not sure why I forgot to mention my distance. And please don’t take me seriously. I become sarcastic when I forget things.

@PNW1985 😅 No worries. I’m curious about the details. Especially on the performance of those boattails.
The boattails seem to perform well. I’m told, out of the Taurus, they hold on to accuracy at extremely long distances. The 185 Mr. Hollowpoint rounds are showing to produce better velocity. I have some on the way for testing. This was my 5 shot chronograph string from a 3800 psi fill. Again, still optimizing my hammer spring tension and such. I do not believe it’s operating at top efficiency.

Dropped a couple guns at Veradium Air today and was able to talk to Brian in person for the first time. Great guy, pleasure to talk to someone that really knows their stuff. Actually held a Taurus, boy that gun suits me. Looked at a couple others also, as well as a project he’s working on. Currently revising my Xmas wish list ha ha ha. Mrs. Claus was with me today so she’s well-informed.

Make sure you keep a log of any contact you have with him, texts , anything.

I have a Veradium Torus. It started with the Benjamin stock. Good gun. Handling sort of sucked. I sent it back after a year and Brian installed the new polymer stock he is making. So much better. Handles like a dream. Drop dead accurate. I don't shoot much past 100 yards. Mostly 30 to 50. Its almost hole in hole with the muzzle break on the end.

It's worth the weight to have one of Veradium's guns. One of the most accurare and well handling airguns I have had. Most of my comparison it to Daystates and Barnes.

With the muzzle break I need earplugs. With the dust collector on the end I can shoot outdoor with no ear protection. The hammer strike is as loud as the report. The slug hitting a tree stump is about as loud as the rest of the firing process. A resounding thwak.
Highly recomended. Buy it before wasting money on a 30 caliber Daystste.
The 25 cal Daystare Airwolf with a carbon dust collector is its own beast. So quiet. Almost no sound in the city. Will drop a racoon. Problem with that gun is you have to aim down. A 40 grain piece of lead going 930 fps in the air in the city is too dangerous. IE, not a bird gun.
