A lot of places do not accept gift cards. It is not unusual. You should be able to cash the card out.

It was explained to you that if your billing info does not match that card exactly your card WILL be declined. Even if you misspell something. Why? We take customer account protection very seriously. More than most. Not to mention fraudulent charges being made to jeopardize someone else’s card. Our customers personal account protection comes first and foremost and we will not repeat NOT settle for anything less. This was all explained to you this morning but conveniently not here so I will.

What a mixed up world we live in. Everything seems to be going cashless yet you offer a prepaid card and that is no good either?

We have a bakery and a sub sandwich place that will only except debit or credit cards only, cash will be accepted but you won't receive any change back........Too freaking lazy to maintain a float in the cash register till. I'm happy to take my business elsewhere!

@Chief Ten-Beers Maybe tell people you want cash for your birthday next year. Or tell them exactly what you want and let them purchase the Kratos (or gift of your choice) for you. I dunno man, just a thought. When I can’t use the payment option I’d like online I either select another or shop elsewhere. Most often it’s not so serious to me. Hopefully it doesn’t upset you for too long.

I can see why he doesn’t take gift cards. Gift cards are a popular way for credit card scammers to extract money from stolen credit cards. They buy legit gift cards with the stolen credit cards.

Truly a first-world problem.

Kudos to Rich. Dealing with the spoilt public on a daily basis must be very tiring. The attempt to smear a respected vendor is revolting, IMHO.
Who is old enough to remember mail order catalogs from the 60's and 70's? 6-8 weeks at least to get your Ovaltine decoder ring. Now the brats want stuff overnight and want to be treated as Royalty or they're gonna run to the Internet to leave a bad review. SMH.
