I made you guys an lil intro vid on the top TWO DNT optics!

Thermnight LRF and TOR 7-35x56.

Alright I hope you guys think my video is cool. I try to be funny and goof off but I really think I may have noticed a detail about each of these scopes that I have not heard anyone say and I have not seen it discussed anywhere.

Many have expressed that the FOV on the 5-20 Zulus are not great, however, the more expensive Thermnight 5-20 in NOT 5-20 on thermal. It is the 3-12.
That gives you dual spectrum and both perspectives suddenly making this an EVEN bigger sleeper for $1000.

The DNT 7-35 x 56 has a Christmas tree reticle in it that I believe is pretty much the same as another scope that has, if not the BEST ballistic calc available, then close to it. The ret it is very close to is in a scope that is SIX TIMES the PRICE!!!
This means I THINK I will get to play with perfect data, clicks, drops, etc on a free app that features a reticle of a scope that costs $3500 with no adjustments, no guesses.
How cool is that?

I will be testing all these theories out and doing little vids for each thing I try.

BIGGER, FASTER, SOONER & low MPG. MERICA.

No joke, This scope seems as longer than the 23" barrel with the sunshade on it and it is a HEAVY pig, too. Not to mention these brands have a long term reputation that is virtually non-existent. I have emailed BOTH Arken and DNT and got snark from Arken and nothing from DNT. This is WHY I didn't feel comfortable buying direct and went through Amazon. Also both companies list reticle options that don't exist. They are far from perfect just very cool and I hope that they stay as cool. The Arken Zero Stop is FRAGLE. That was a surprise. I think the grub screws in the Zero stop and its set screw on the DNT are Titanium instead of aluminum and brass. They feel more substantial and significantly lighter, like tin, but they are harder. I do appreciate the DNT having the windage stop at 45 degrees. I have not used it that way that before. I think it is cool.
Also, the over emphasis on clicky clicks and stiff zoom, parallax and eye cup is basically invented by the Arken marketing. Every scope on planet earth that has screws in the turret cap and floats free with grub screws can perfectly line up on the lines on the permanent lines on the bottom of the turret. People are acting like Arken invented all of that that. So there are things I have my eyes open for at the end of the day it is a high value budget scope. There will be compromises. There is almost NO marketing for DNT for reviewers at lease not for TOR - Scope.
