FX FX Dynamic Express 600

Hello Guys , I 've been told that the FX Dynamic was created to compete with the .22 long rifle , in terms of power and accuracy . So I'm very tempted to buy one but before, I would like to have your opinions and experiences about this gun . Does it really compare with a .22 R , or is it fake. Is it just another kind of Impact or Maverick in another dress ? I like the design of the Dynamic better than the Panthera , both guns have same specifications , I believe. So , is it worthwhile to buy one and expecting the results of an .22LR ?

Thanks and ....happy shooting

The Dynamic and the Panthera are powerfull pcp's and can compete in some rimfire competitions. But in my opinion, you will have to push them very hard to get them at the same power as a .22lr if you compare a .22 airgun with a .22lr. If you go bigger in caliber, you can eclipse the .22lr.
Bear in mind that airguns, even with slugs, mostly operate at subsonic speeds. And that there is a large variety in .22lr ammo. A CCI Velocitor at advertised velocity generates 248 J (or 182 ft/lbs for non-SI users) at the muzzle. A CCI Standard is putting out 138 J (102 ft/lbs). Matching the Velocitor with an FX Dynamic 700 requires you to get the .35 caliber version. The CCI Standard can be outperformed by the .25 caliber version.

Very good explantion , thanks(y)

To each their own. There was and probably still is a push to get air guns to PB power levels. I took the bait for a while. Pushing my Maverick to the outside boundaries of its design. The gun was harsh to shoot and constantly being tweaked and screwed with.
I now shoot all my guns at lower powers to keep them in a balanced and relaxed state.
