Wind was calm this morning, so I took my wildcat out for a shoot. I have been using a red dot for a few weeks now and getting really nice groups, considering I have a slight stigmatism, I decided to re-install my Athlon 1-6x24 I had removed for the red dot and to my surprise it was (on the money) target @ 50 yards 5 shots JSB 18gr light tail wind. Forgot to mention the sun was low and at my back and I could see the pellets in flight. Also no adjustment's to the scope.

When the fifth shot finally goes into a group like that my heart just warms a little bit more. That‘s really nice shooting.

Thanks, that's when I run and take a picture lol. The most amazing thing to me was the scope mounted up and didn't need any adjustments.

I had a Wildcat MK2 .22 compact was just as Amazing and gave it to my son. I missed it so much I bought this one (MK3) Its very light weight I believe 6# + optics

That's a really nice group. I know the satisfaction you feel when you see a tiny little cluster of holes or a single hole.
The last group I got that feeling from was a 5 shot group from an Umarex BB gun at 15 yards that I shot from a sitting position and measured about 3/4". I'm pretty sure I couldn't do it twice, BB guns just aren't that accurate, but it was that time.

SOME things just need to be left as is! Pretty nice little group. It's what I've come to expect (& get) from my FX platform (Bobcat, Boss, Royale). I never mess with them once I get those results.

The best thing I ever did to my Maverick is stop adjusting it and changing tunes . It's found its place with 25.4gr .22 pellets and shoots better than I do .

Decide what you want the gun to do first, then work your way there. When you get there quit messing with it and just enjoy shooting it. Start on the next project, it never ends. Ever.

Once I'm dialed in I stick with the same pellets as well . I only change pellets on my plinkers and my pesters stay on the same diet .
