Big shout out to Rich @ AR. Told him I wanted a long m457 tube, depinger and the new DonnyFL. 257 Ronin. With 75 gr she will hit 145 fpe as advertised. Now, when the rain stop we can have fun.
This is not a factory gun, as a matter of fact it’s not even regulated. It’s a new offering from AR. Check out the website for more details. It also sells at MAP pricing.@shambozzie That app works out a lot of data. Finally a member who is going to put this gun through its paces. I've been waiting for someone like you to get a hold of one of these M257s.
@shambozzie So two mags per fill using 100psi per shot shooting from 3000 to 2000 psi. Seems consistent with the Bulldog .357 with 81 grain pellets to 110 grain slugs. The drop in POI after the first mag also seems consistent albeit I never measured and averaged the drop. Thanks for sharing. What would you say the sweet spot is, 3000-2500 psi range? This is basis test 3000 fill, 2000 end. Ave 100 psi per shot. Aim spot the same. Could raise aim point .5 mil for second mag and it would cover first mag with the 76 4s. Sweet spot between 2800/2900. I have a blue spring from org bulldog I want to try. Hooking up to reg next.
Those are some good grouping with the 76 grain S4 nose! I've always been a fan of the S4 RBT swaged slugs. Stretching them out to long ranges with a good tune looks like they will be super accurate.Grilling, having a brewery and giving the bulldog m257 some action. Not my best but here goes anyway. The 76 4s look great.
