Which pistol is more accurate the I or II? I have read the MK I, as the MK II had a barrel made for bb's and pellets. Any opinions from those that have shot them? Is one more desirable than the other?

Both have rifled barrels. The only difference between the two is the caliber.
The MK1 in .22 is my favorite.

I own both I cannot tell the diffence, The British swear by .177 for target work. I like the .22 because my old fat fingers fumble with the small .177 pellets. Buy both and do a reveiw for all of us. I think the 78G is better just my 2 cents. The HW75 is wonderful with a scope and no co2 to buy either.

Have a 78G and a HW75 with a reflex sight on it, both wonderful guns. Just looking to add a Crosman mark I or II and a Webley Hurricane eventually.
